For most of the last two decades, Tom has helped organizations communicate their messages to audiences of all shapes, sizes, and types. He spent five years in political communications in the Washington, DC area before spending three years in seminary. Upon leaving seminary he embarked on a twelve year career as the lead digital communicator for a mid-size Christian university with a national audience and an international reputation. In that capacity he worked with every department and office in the institution to craft their messaging and develop a digital communications plan, led the development of a host of websites and a mobile app, and launched the school’s social media presence from scratch. His work contributed to an increase in the institution’s enrollment at a time when many competitors faltered.
